Husky, freeing Sicily with the help of Don Calo, the resident Mafia
boss. In 1945, he gets injured and transfers back to Empire Bay,
managing to avoid having to go back thanks to forged release papers
provided by Joe's friend Giuseppe.
Discovering
that his sister is struggling to pay back a loan shark, Vito
reluctantly agrees to work with Joe on some illegal dealings and he
comes in touch with Henry Tommasino, who is part of the Clemente family.
Henry provides them with assignments, including stealing fuel stamps
and robberies. Vito is betrayed by one of the clerks he sold the stamps
to however and is sentenced to 10 years in jail where he meets Leo
Galante, consigliere to the Vinci family. Vito gets released early in
1951 due to Leo's help and he and Joe get accepted into the Falcone
family, who Joe worked for since Vito's imprisonment. Together they kill
Alberto Clemente, their former boss, for betraying them.

Henry and Joe then try to run drugs, buying from the Chinese and
selling it in the ghetto. However, Henry is killed soon afterwards and
after Joe and Vito seek revenge on the Chinese for killing him, only to
discover that Henry was a government informer. The Chinese then blame
the Italians, especially Don Vinci, for their losses, who in turn
kidnaps Joe to find out what happened. Vito manages to free Joe but soon
both remaining families find out what happened. Leo offers Vito a
chance to redeem himself by killing Falcone which he does with help from
Joe, whom Falcone tried to turn. The games ends with them driving away
in different cars, as Leo Galante tells Vito "Sorry kid, Joe wasn't part
of the deal", leaving the fate of both characters unrevealed.He game
